REAP Day at the Statehouse
REAP Day at the Capitol
WHAT IS ENVIRONMENTAL LOBBY DAY?
Each year, organizations and individuals from across the state come together at the Capitol to speak with legislators about the importance of protecting and preserving Iowa’s natural resources at REAP Day at the Capitol. Speaking face-to-face with legislators and showing that there is a broad base of support for a healthy environment is one of the most important ways to help advance programs and policies that protect Iowa’s water, land and air.

WHAT TO WEAR
Visibility at the Capitol is key. Help show policymakers there is strong support for programs and policies that support Iowa's natural resources by wearing blue.
Several DART (public transit) lines serve the State Capitol, including the free D-Line shuttle through downtown. View DART routes. If you're driving, we recommend carpooling and parking in the free public ramp at E. Grand Ave. and Pennsylvania Ave. View Capitol Complex parking info.
Organizations are invited to display at Environmental Lobby Day & REAP Day at the Capitol. All exhibitors must pre-regsiter to display, even if they have participated in past events. Please note: Space is limited.
Priority is given to the Council's member organizations, which may reserve display space at no cost as a membership benefit. Organizations that are not members of the Council may request display space and reserve a table for $35 each. Detailed exhibitor info may be found in our exhibitor guide.
